Hi, I’m Tory, a licensed massage therapist (LMT) with over a decade of experience helping people feel their best.
Over the years, I’ve seen how much a few minutes of wellness can change someone’s entire day. During my time doing corporate chair massage, people would often tell me, “I’ve been looking forward to this all week,” and every time slot was consistently booked.
Many also shared how their busy weekends, long commutes, and demanding schedules made it nearly impossible to find time for themselves. When you work the traditional 9-5, it’s hard to justify taking time away from family to get a professional massage, yet in today’s sedentary work culture, that kind of care is essential for health and longevity.
I realized that massage, offered as a consistent workplace wellness program, is something people genuinely need. Elevating it to a weekly amenity felt like the game-changer so many workplaces were missing.
While chair massage events are fantastic for employee morale and health, I also recognized that asking property managers or employers to fund weekly or even monthly massage visits isn’t sustainable. It puts a big dent in their bottom line. DeskBreak’s model solves that problem by allowing office tenants and employees to book, pay, and receive chair massage services on-site, right in their office buildings, while remaining at no cost to building managers or employers.
My experiences doing corporate chair massage have stayed with me. I saw how something so simple could create happier employees, stronger tenant relationships, and enhance positivity throughout the building.
